i would like a few simple answers
why has our mental health service let so many people down over the years ?
why does it take 27 years to be treated and then the treatment taken away from a person that has not even been assesed proper ?
why does our gp,s think tablets resolve mental health proplems ?

why can no one answer these simple things ?

the people of northern ireland deserve a better mental health service a service we can be proud of

I would like to thank dr arthur cassidy for his support and help he has give to myself and family over the past months . my daughter took her life in October 2008 which devastated our whole family and friends as it wasthe last thing we expected ! my daughter was a lively & bubbly girl with a lot to give in life she was the type of girl who
did not let anything get her down . as a mother i am still grieving for my daughter and have come close to ending my own life , but with the help of Arthur and lifeline i have managed to control these urges. i would encourage anyone who is contemplating suicide to talk to Arthur or contact lifline ,samaritins who are professional and dedicated people who contribute their time freely to give people like myself who have had their lives devastated by loss some kind of hope for the future.
